క్లీన్ ఎనర్జీ రంగంలో తెలంగాణ మరో ముందడుగు వేసింది. సుమారు 6 వేల కోట్ల రూపాయల పెట్టుబడితో స్మాల్ మాడ్యులర్ రియాక్టర్ (ఎస్ఎంఆర్) ఆధారిత విద్యుత్ ప్రాజెక్ట్ అభివృద్ధికి స్లోవాకియాకు చెందిన న్యూక్లర్ ప్రొడక్ట్స్ సంస్థ ముందుకు వచ్చింది. ఈ మేరకు రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వానికి ఆ సంస్థ ఎక్స్ప్రెషన్ ఆఫ్ ఇంట్రెస్ట్ (ఈఓఐ) సమర్పించింది.
దావోస్లో జరుగుతున్న ప్రపంచ ఆర్థిక వేదిక–2026 సమావేశాల సందర్భంగా, ముఖ్యమంత్రి శ్రీ రేవంత్ రెడ్డి గారితో న్యూక్లర్ ప్రొడక్ట్స్ సంస్థ ప్రతినిధులు భేటీ అయ్యారు.
ఈ సమావేశంలో ఐటీ, పరిశ్రమల శాఖ మంత్రి దుద్దిళ్ల శ్రీధర్ బాబు గారు, రెవెన్యూ శాఖ మంత్రి పొంగులేటి శ్రీనివాస్ రెడ్డి గారు, ఐక్యూ క్యాపిటల్ గ్రూప్ ఛైర్మన్ డాక్టర్ జాన్ బాబిక్ గారు, గ్రూప్ సీఈఓ, డైరెక్టర్ అనిల్ కుమార్ బావిసెట్టి గారు, గ్రీన్ హౌస్ ఎన్విరో సీఈఓ, డైరెక్టర్ మొలుగు శ్రీపాల్ రెడ్డి గారు, స్లోవాక్ రిపబ్లిక్ కాన్సుల్ మాటుస్ జెమెస్ గారు పాల్గొన్నారు.
ఈ సందర్భంగా ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారు మాట్లాడుతూ.. తెలంగాణ ప్రభుత్వం క్లీన్ అండ్ గ్రీన్ ఎనర్జీ ప్రాజెక్టులను ప్రోత్సహించేందుకు సిద్ధంగా ఉందన్నారు. 2047 నాటికి నెట్–జీరో లక్ష్యాన్ని సాధించడంలో సుస్థిర అభివృద్ధే తెలంగాణకు ప్రధానమని స్పష్టం చేశారు.
స్లోవాకియాకు చెందిన ఐక్యూ క్యాపిటల్, భారత్కు చెందిన గ్రీన్ హౌస్ ఎన్విరో సంయుక్త భాగస్వామ్యంలో న్యూక్లర్ ప్రొడక్ట్స్ సంస్థ ఏర్పడింది.
600 మిలియన్ యూరోలు (సుమారు రూ.6,000 కోట్ల) పెట్టుబడితో గరిష్ఠంగా 300 మెగావాట్ల సామర్థ్యంతో తెలంగాణలో కొత్త విద్యుత్ ప్రాజెక్ట్ను ఏర్పాటు చేసే అవకాశాలను న్యూక్లర్ ప్రొడక్ట్స్ సంస్థ పరిశీలిస్తోంది.
A breakthrough in Telangana’s clean energy ambitions took shape at the World Economic Forum 2026 in Davos, as NUkler Products — a joint venture promoted by Slovakia-based IQ Capital and India-based Green House Enviro — formally expressed interest in partnering with Telangana to develop a next-generation clean energy project anchored in sustainability and advanced technology.
The joint venture submitted an Expression of Interest (EOI) to explore the development of a Small Modular Reactor (SMR)-based clean energy project in Telangana, with a proposed installed capacity of up to 300 MW and an estimated investment of EUR 600 million (approximately ₹6,000 crore).
The EOI was shared during a meeting with the Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri A. Revanth Reddy-led ‘Telangana Rising’ delegation. The company was represented by Dr. Jan Babic, Group Chairman, IQ Capital; Anil Kumar Bavissetty, Group CEO and Director, IQ Capital; and Molugu Sripal Reddy, CEO and Director, Green House Enviro. Matus Gemes, Honorary Consul of the Slovak Republic to the Principality of Liechtenstein, was also present, underscoring the strong international dimension of the engagement.
Welcoming the proposal, the Chief Minister stated that Telangana is keen to encourage sustainable, clean, and advanced energy infrastructure projects aligned with the State’s long-term development vision. He emphasized that sustainability is a core pillar of Telangana’s policy framework, particularly in the pursuit of the Net Zero target by 2047.
Ministers Shri Duddilla Sridhar Babu and Shri Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy were also part of the delegation and participated in the discussions, reiterating the Government of Telangana’s commitment to facilitating future-ready and advanced clean energy projects in the State.
