భారత్ ఫ్యూచర్ సిటీని ప్రపంచ స్థాయి నగరంగా అభివృద్ధి చేసేందుకు తెలంగాణతో కలిసి పనిచేయడానికి యూఏఈ ప్రభుత్వం సిద్ధంగా ఉందని ఆ దేశ ఆర్థిక, పర్యాటక శాఖ మంత్రి అబ్దుల్లా బిన్ తౌక్ అల్ మార్రీ గారు తెలిపారు.
ప్రపంచ ఆర్థిక వేదిక–2026 సదస్సులో భాగంగా, దావోస్లో ముఖ్యమంత్రి శ్రీ రేవంత్ రెడ్డి గారి నేతృత్వంలోని తెలంగాణ రైజింగ్ ప్రతినిధి బృందంతో యూఏఈ మంత్రి మంగళవారం భేటీ అయ్యారు. రాష్ట్రంలో చేపట్టే భారీ మౌలిక సదుపాయాల ప్రాజెక్టులు, ప్రధానంగా భారత్ ఫ్యూచర్ సిటీపై చర్చలు జరిపారు.
ఈ సందర్భంలో ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారు యూఏఈ ప్రతినిధి బృందానికి ‘తెలంగాణ రైజింగ్ 2047’ విజన్ వివరించారు. 2047 నాటికి తెలంగాణను 3 ట్రిలియన్ డాలర్ల ఆర్థిక వ్యవస్థగా తీర్చిదిద్దడమే లక్ష్యమని తెలిపారు.
భారత్ ఫ్యూచర్ సిటీ ప్రాజెక్ట్ అభివృద్ధి అంశాలను ప్రస్తావిస్తూ, ఇది దేశంలోనే తొలి నెట్-జీరో గ్రీన్ఫీల్డ్ స్మార్ట్ సిటీగా రూపుదిద్దుకోనుందని తెలిపారు. సుమారు 30,000 ఎకరాల్లో విస్తరించే ఫ్యూచర్ సిటీలో ఏఐ, విద్య, ఆరోగ్యం, పరిశ్రమలు, నివాసం, వినోద రంగాలకు ప్రత్యేక జోన్లు ఏర్పాటు చేయనున్నట్లు వివరించారు.
భారత్ ఫ్యూచర్ సిటీ ప్రాజెక్ట్లో ఇప్పటికే మారుబెనీ, సెమ్ కార్ప్ వంటి అంతర్జాతీయ సంస్థలు భాగస్వాములుగా ఉన్నాయని, ఇటీవల రిలయన్స్ గ్రూప్ ‘వన్తారా’ పేరుతో ఫ్యూచర్ సిటీలో జూ పార్క్ ఏర్పాటు కోసం అవగాహన ఒప్పందం కుదిరిందని ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారు వెల్లడించారు.
తెలంగాణతో వ్యూహాత్మక భాగస్వామ్యం కోసం తమ ప్రభుత్వం ఆసక్తిగా ఉందని యూఏఈ మంత్రి అబ్దుల్లా బిన్ తౌక్ అల్ మార్రీ గారు ఉద్ఘాటించారు. భారత్ ఫ్యూచర్ సిటీ ప్రాజెక్ట్ వేగవంతం కావడానికి రెండు ప్రభుత్వాల అధికారులతో సంయుక్త టాస్క్ ఫోర్స్ ఏర్పాటు చేయాలని సూచించారు. యూఏఈ ఫుడ్ క్లస్టర్తో తెలంగాణ కలిసి పనిచేసి గ్రామీణ, వ్యవసాయ ఆధారిత ఆర్థిక వ్యవస్థను బలోపేతం చేయాలన్న ఆకాంక్షను కూడా వ్యక్తం చేశారు.
ఈ సమావేశంలో మంత్రులు దుద్దిళ్ల శ్రీధర్ బాబు గారు, పొంగులేటి శ్రీనివాస్ రెడ్డి గారు, ఉన్నతాధికారులు పాల్గొన్నారు.
The UAE Government and the State of Telangana have expressed a commitment to collaborate on the development of Bharat Future City, envisioned as a world-class global city. H.E. Abdulla bin Touq Al Marri, Minister of Economy and Tourism of the UAE, met the Telangana Rising delegation led by Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri A. Revanth Reddy at the World Economic Forum 2026 in Davos on Tuesday.
Discussions focused on Telangana’s large-scale infrastructure projects, with particular emphasis on Bharat Future City, India’s first Net-Zero Greenfield Smart City. Spread over 30,000 acres, the city is planned as a sustainable, multi-sectoral hub with dedicated zones for AI, education, healthcare, industries, residential areas, and entertainment.
The Chief Minister outlined the Telangana Rising 2047 vision, highlighting the roadmap to transform Telangana into a $3 trillion economy by 2047. He also noted that international companies such as Marubeni and Sembcorp are already engaged in the project. Recently, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed with the Reliance Group’s Vantara to establish a zoo within the Future City.
H.E. Abdulla bin Touq Al Marri expressed the UAE government’s interest in a strategic partnership with Telangana. He proposed forming a joint task force of officials from both governments to facilitate rapid implementation. He also highlighted potential collaboration between the UAE food cluster and Telangana to strengthen the rural and agriculture-based economy.
The delegation included IT and Industries Minister Shri Duddilla Sridhar Babu, Revenue Minister Shri Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy, and other senior officials.
