కొడంగల్ శాసనసభ నియోజకవర్గం పరిధిలో రూ. 103 కోట్లతో వివిధ అభివృద్ధి పనులకు ముఖ్యమంత్రి శ్రీ రేవంత్ రెడ్డి గారు శంకుస్థాపన చేశారు.

2034 నాటికి దేశంలోనే ఒక ఆదర్శవంతమైన శాసనసభ నియోజకవర్గంగా కొడంగల్ను తీర్చిదిద్దుకుందామని ముఖ్యమంత్రి శ్రీ రేవంత్ రెడ్డి గారు పిలుపునిచ్చారు. గడిచిన 70 ఏండ్లుగా నిర్లక్ష్యానికి గురైన ఈ నియోజకవర్గాన్ని అభివృద్ధి చేసుకునే అవకాశం వచ్చిందని, దేశం నలుమూలల నుంచి ఇక్కడికొచ్చి చూసేలా అభివృద్ధి చేసుకుని ఆదర్శవంతంగా నిలబెడుదామని చెప్పారు.
ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారు ఈరోజు కొడంగల్ నియోజకవర్గంలో పర్యటించారు. కొడంగల్లో హరేకృష్ణ సంస్థ (HKM) వారి ఆధునిక అల్పాహార వంటశాల (సెంట్రలైజ్డ్ కమ్యూనిటీ కిచెన్) ను పరిశీలించారు. అనంతరం అక్షయపాత్ర ఫౌండేషన్ (Akshaya Patra Foundation) ఆధ్వర్యంలో మిడ్ డే కిచెన్ భవనానికి భూమి పూజ నిర్వహించారు.
ఇదే సందర్భంగా నియోజకవర్గంలో రూ. 103 కోట్లతో వివిధ అభివృద్ధి పథకాలకు శంకుస్థాపన చేసి సంక్షేమ పథకాలకు సంబంధించి లబ్దిదారులకు చెక్కులు, చీరలను పంపిణీ చేశారు. అక్కడ ఏర్పాటు చేసిన సభలో ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారు ప్రసంగిస్తూ కొండగల్ను ఒక మోడల్ నియోజకవర్గంగా తీర్చిదిద్దడానికి సంబంధించి ప్రణాళికలను ఆవిష్కరించారు.
ఆడబిడ్డలు సంతోషంగా, ప్రశాంతంగా ఉంటేనే రాష్ట్రం ఆర్థికాభివృద్ధి సాధిస్తుందన్న విశ్వాసంతోనే వారిని ఆదుకోవడానికి అనేక సంక్షేమ పథకాలను అమలు చేస్తున్నాం. వారి జీవితాల్లో వెలుగులు నింపడానికి ప్రధానమైన విద్య, నీటి పారుదల రంగం అభివృద్ధి చేయడానికి ప్రభుత్వం కంకణం కట్టుకుంది. అందుకు కొడంగల్ ఒక ప్రయోగశాలగా ఎంచుకున్నాం.
ఇంట్లో అమ్మ ఏ విధంగా ఆలోచన చేస్తుందో, అదే విధంగా అక్షయపాత్ర సహకారంతో నియోజకవర్గంలోని 312 పాఠశాలల్లో చదువుకుంటున్న 28 వేల మంది విద్యార్థులకు ప్రతి రోజూ ఉదయం అల్పాహారం పెడుతున్నాం. ఏ ఒక్క విద్యార్థి ఆకలితో బాధ పడకూడదు. ఆకలితో చదువుపై శ్రద్ధ కోల్పోవద్దని విద్యార్థులకు ఆల్పాహారం పెట్టాలని నిర్ణయించాం. మధ్యాహ్న భోజన పథకం కూడా ప్రవేశపెడుతున్నాం.
కొడంగల్ నియోజకవర్గాన్ని ఒక ఎడ్యుకేషనల్ హబ్గా మార్చుతున్నాం. మెడికల్ కాలేజీ, వెటర్నరీ, వ్యవసాయ కాలేజీ, పారా మెడికల్, నర్సింగ్ కాలేజీ, ఫిజియో థెరఫీ, ఇంజనీరింగ్ కాలేజీ, ఏటీసీ, జూనియర్, డిగ్రీ కాలేజీలతో పాటు రాష్ట్రంలో ఇప్పటివరకు లేని సైనిక్ స్కూల్ను కొడంగల్లో ప్రారంభించుకోబోతున్నాం.
రేపటి తెలంగాణ పునర్నిర్మాణంలో కొడంగల్ పిల్లలను భాగస్వామ్యం చేయడానికి చర్యలు తీసుకుంటున్నాం. 5 వేల కోట్ల రూపాయలతో ఎడ్యుకేషన్ క్యాంపస్ను నిర్మించుకుంటున్నాం. గొప్ప చదువు చదవాలంటే కొడంగల్ వెళ్లే విధంగా తీర్చిదిద్దాలని క్యాంపస్ను నిర్మిస్తున్నాం. 16 నెలలు తిరిగే లోపు అంతర్జాతీయ ఎడ్యుకేషన్ హబ్గా తీర్చిదిద్దడానికి ప్రయత్నం చేస్తున్నాం.
కరువు ప్రాంతంగా ఉన్న కొడంగల్, మక్తల్, నారాయణపేట ప్రాంతాలను కృష్ణా నదీ జలాలతో తడపాలని, ప్రతి ఎకరాకు నీరివ్వాలని, లిఫ్ట్ ఇరిగేషన్ ప్రాజెక్టును ప్రారంభించుకోవడమే కాకుండా దాదాపు 5 వేల కోట్ల రూపాయలతో ప్రతి ఎకరాకు నీరివ్వాలని సంకల్పించాం.
భూ సేకరణ విషయంలో 95 శాతం రైతులు స్వతంత్రంగా ముందుకొచ్చి ప్రాజెక్టులు కట్టాలని భూములిచ్చారు. రేపు మంత్రివర్గంలో ఆమోదం పొందితే మూడు నెలల్లో పనులు ప్రారంభమవుతాయి. రైతులు అడిగిన ఇండ్లు, నష్టపరిహారం ఇచ్చాం. లగచర్ల, హకీంపేట, పోలెపల్లి ప్రాంతంలో రైతులు ముందుకొచ్చి ఇస్తున్నారు. అంతర్జాతీయ స్థాయి పరిశ్రమలను స్థాపించి లగచర్ల పారిశ్రామిక వాడను అభివృద్ధి చేస్తున్నాం.
కొడంగల్ ఒక గొప్ప పారిశ్రామిక కేంద్రంగా, దేశ రాజధాని ఢిల్లీ పక్కన నొయిడా అభివృద్ధి చెందినట్టుగా, తెలంగాణ నొయిడాగా తీర్చిదిద్ది కొడంగల్కు అంతర్జాతీయ గుర్తింపు తీసుకొస్తాం. ఇక్కడి పిల్లలకు విద్యతో పాటు పరిశ్రమల్లో ఉద్యోగాలు కల్పించే ప్రణాళికలు చేస్తున్నాం.
ఇక్కడ పరిశ్రమలు అభివృద్ధి చెందాలంటే రైల్వే లైన్ కావాలి. అందుకే వికారాబాద్ – కృష్ణా రైల్వే లైన్ (వికారాబాద్, పరిగి కొడంగల్ నారాయణపేట్, మక్తల్) నుంచి కర్నాకట రాష్ట్రానికి రైలు మార్గం కోసం కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వ ఆమోదమే కాకుండా రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వం నిధులు కూడా మంజూరు చేశాం. 70 ఏండ్లుగా వత్తులేసుకుని ఎదురుచూస్తున్న రైల్వే లైను పనులు తొందరలోనే మొదలుపెట్టబోతున్నాం.
ఇక్కడ ఉన్న సున్నపు గునులను దృష్టిలో పెట్టుకుని కొడంగల్ మండలంలో తొందరలోనే సిమెంట్ పరిశ్రమను పెట్టి ఇక్కడ ఉద్యోగాలు కల్పించబోతున్నాం.
రాష్ట్రంలో కోటి మంది మహిళలకు పంపిణీ చేయడానికి కోటి చీరెలను సారెగా నాణ్యత కలిగిన చీరలను అందిస్తున్నాం. ప్రతి ఆడబిడ్డకు చీర అందాలి. ప్రతి ఆడబిడ్డ ఇంటికెళ్లి చీర అందించే విధంగా అధికారులు చర్యలు తీసుకోవాలి.
గ్రామాల్లో బడి, గుడి, తాగడానికి మంచినీరు, ఇందిరమ్మ ఇండ్లు.. కావాలి. ఇలాంటి పనులు చేయాలంటే రాబోయే సర్పంచు ఎన్నికల్లో మంచి వారిని గెలిపించుకోవాలి.. అని ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారు పిలుపునిచ్చారు.
నియోజకవర్గంలో స్వయం సహాయక సంఘాలకు వడ్డీలేని 300 కోట్ల రూపాయల చెక్కును అందించారు. అంతకుముందు మహిళా శక్తి పథకంలో భాగంగా మద్దూరు మండల మహిళా సమాఖ్య సౌజన్యంతో నడపనున్న బస్సుకు ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారు జెండా ఊపి ప్రారంభించారు.
ఈ కార్యక్రమాల్లో మంత్రులు దామోదర రాజనర్సింహ గారు, వాకిటి శ్రీహరి గారు, జిల్లా ప్రజా ప్రతినిధులు, అధికారులు, మహిళా సంఘాల ప్రతినిధులు పెద్దఎత్తున పాల్గొన్నారు.
Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri A. Revanth Reddy emphasized making Kodangal an ideal assembly constituency in the country by 2034. He said that this constituency, which has been neglected for the past 70 years, now has a historic opportunity to develop into a model constituency that people from across the country can visit and witness.
The Chief Minister visited Kodangal today and inspected the modern breakfast kitchen (centralized community kitchen) of Hare Krishna Sanstha (HKM). He later participated in the groundbreaking ceremony for the mid-day meal kitchen under the auspices of the Akshaya Patra Foundation.
On this occasion, the foundation stone for various development projects worth Rs. 103 crores was laid in the constituency. Cheques and sarees were distributed to beneficiaries of welfare schemes. Addressing the gathering, the Chief Minister outlined plans to transform Kodangal into a model constituency.
The government is implementing numerous welfare schemes to support girl children, with the belief that the state will achieve economic growth only if girls are happy and secure. Special focus is being given to education and irrigation sectors to improve their lives, with Kodangal serving as a laboratory for these initiatives.
With the support of Akshaya Patra, breakfast is being provided every morning to 28,000 students studying in 312 schools across the constituency. This ensures that no student suffers from hunger and can focus on studies. A mid-day meal scheme is also being introduced.
Kodangal is being developed as an educational hub. Plans include establishing a medical college, veterinary and agricultural colleges, para-medical and nursing colleges, physiotherapy and engineering colleges, ATC, junior and degree colleges, and even a Sainik school—a first for the state. A state-of-the-art education campus with an investment of Rs. 5,000 crores is being built to attract students from across the country, aiming to make Kodangal an international education hub within 16 months.
Steps are being taken to irrigate the drought-prone areas of Kodangal, Maktal, and Narayanpet using Krishna River water. Every acre will receive water through the planned lift irrigation project, with an investment of approximately Rs. 5,000 crores.
In land acquisition efforts, 95% of farmers have voluntarily provided land for development projects. With cabinet approval, work will commence within three months. Houses and compensation have already been provided as requested. Farmers in Lagacharla, Hakimpeta, and Polepalli are contributing land for industrial development. Lagacharla industrial estate is being established with plans for international-level industries.
Kodangal is being positioned as a major industrial hub, similar to Noida in Delhi-NCR, and the Chief Minister stressed the goal of bringing international recognition to it. Plans are in place to provide employment opportunities for local youth alongside educational development.
To support industrial growth, a railway line connecting Vikarabad-Parigi-Kodangal-Narayanpet-Maktal to Karnataka has been approved by both the central and state governments. This project, pending for 70 years, is set to commence soon. A cement industry will also be set up in Kodangal mandal, leveraging local lime mines, to generate employment opportunities.
The government is distributing one crore quality sarees to women across the state, ensuring that every girl child receives a saree. Authorities have been instructed to deliver sarees to every household. Emphasizing rural development, the Chief Minister highlighted the need for schools, temples, drinking water, and Indiramma houses in villages, and urged voters to elect good candidates in the upcoming Sarpanch elections.
Self-help groups in the constituency received interest-free loans worth Rs. 300 crore. Earlier, the Chief Minister flagged off a bus to be operated by Maddur Mandal Mahila Samakhya under the Mahila Shakti scheme. Ministers Damodar Rajanarsimha and Vakiti Srihari, district public representatives, officials, and representatives of women’s organizations participated in these programs in large numbers.
