దసరా పండుగ సందర్భంగా సింగరేణి కార్మికులకు వరుసగా రెండో ఏడాది ముఖ్యమంత్రి శ్రీ రేవంత్ రెడ్డి గారు శుభవార్త అందించారు. గడిచిన ఏడాది కాలంలో సింగరేణి సంస్థ ఉత్పత్తి, గడించిన లాభాలు, సాధించిన విజయాల ఆధారంగా కార్మికులకు 34 శాతం మేరకు బోనస్ ప్రకటించారు.
సింగరేణి కార్మికులకు బోనస్ అందించాలన్న అంశంపై ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారు ఉప ముఖ్యమంత్రి మల్లు భట్టి విక్రమార్క గారు, మంత్రి దుద్దిళ్ల శ్రీధర్ బాబు గారితో పాటు ఇతర మంత్రులు, సింగరేణి ప్రాంత ప్రజాప్రతినిధులతో చర్చించి నిర్ణయం తీసుకున్నారు.
అనంతరం మీడియాతో మాట్లాడుతూ, సింగరేణి లాభాల్లో 34 శాతం మేరకు 819 కోట్ల రూపాయలను బోనస్ను ప్రకటించారు. తాజాగా ప్రకటించిన బోనస్ వల్ల ప్రతి కార్మికుడికి 1,95,610 రూపాయల చొప్పున ప్రయోజనం చేకూరనుంది. గతేడాది తొలిసారిగా కాంట్రాక్ట్ కార్మికులకూ రూ. 5 వేల చొప్పున బోనస్ అందజేయగా, ఈసారి రూ. 5,500 చొప్పున బోనస్ చెల్లించాలని నిర్ణయించినట్టు ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారు చెప్పారు.
2024-25 ఆర్థిక సంవత్సరానికి గాను పన్నులు పోగా సింగరేణి 6,394 కోట్ల మేరకు లాభాలను గడించగా, అందులో సింగరేణి సంస్థ విస్తరణకు 4,034 కోట్లు కేటాయించారు. మిగిలిన 2360 కోట్లను వివిధ రూపాల్లో కార్మికుల సంక్షేమ కార్యక్రమాలకు వినియోగించడంతో పాటు, అందులో 34 శాతం మేరకు బోనస్ ప్రకటించారు. మొత్తంగా దాదాపు 71 వేల మంది కార్మికులకు ప్రయోజనం చేకూరుతుంది.
దసరా పండుగను పురస్కరించుకుని ఈ బోనస్ ప్రకటించగా దీపావళి పండుగ సందర్భంలో బోనస్కు సంబంధించి మరో ప్రకటన చేస్తామని తెలియజేశారు. సింగరేణి అభివృద్ధిలో సహకరించిన కార్మిక సంఘాలకు ఈ సందర్భంగా ధన్యవాదాలు తెలిపారు.
తెలంగాణ సాధన ప్రక్రియలో సింగరేణి (Singareni) కార్మికుల త్యాగం, శ్రమ, చరిత్ర ఎప్పటికీ మరువలేమని ఈ సందర్భంగా ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారు అన్నారు. తెలంగాణ ఉద్యమం ఉధృతంగా సాగుతున్న దశలో బొగ్గు ఉత్పత్తిని స్తంభింపజేసి ఆనాటి ప్రభుత్వాలపై ఒత్తిడి తీసుకొచ్చి తెలంగాణ సాధన ప్రక్రియలో సింగరేణి కార్మికులు ప్రత్యేకమైన పాత్ర పోషించారని అన్నారు. తెలంగాణలో వారి భాగస్వామ్యాన్ని ప్రభుత్వం ఎప్పుడూ గుర్తిస్తూనే ఉంటుందని చెప్పారు.
బొగ్గు గనుల ద్వారా సింగరేణి మొత్తం జాతికే వెలుగులు అందిస్తోందని, దేశంలో పరిశ్రమలు లాభసాటిలో నడుస్తున్నాయంటే కార్మికుల శ్రమ ఎంతో ఉందన్నారు. అత్యంత కీలక పాత్ర పోషిస్తున్న కార్మికులకు లాభాల్లో వాటాలను పంచాలని నిర్ణయించామని అన్నారు.
శ్రమ శక్తిని నమ్ముకున్న కార్మికులకు లాభాల్లో వాటాలను పంచడంతో పాటు సంస్థ భవిష్యత్తు ప్రణాళికలు, విస్తరణ కార్యక్రమాలు, కార్పొరేట్ రంగంతో పోటీ పడే విధంగా తీర్చిదిద్దాలన్న లక్ష్యంతో కార్మికుల సంక్షేమం, అభివృద్ధి సాధించే దిశగా నిర్ణయాలు తీసుకుంటామని తెలిపారు.
సింగరేణి సంస్థ కార్పొరేట్ రంగంతో పోటీ పడి తలెత్తుకునేలా భవిష్యత్తు పెట్టుబడులు, ప్రణాళికలతో ముందుకు వెళ్లే విషయంలో కార్మిక సంఘాలతో చర్చించి నిర్ణయం తీసుకోవాలని ఈ సందర్భంగా ఉప ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారు, ఇతర మంత్రులకు ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారు సూచించారు.
గత ప్రభుత్వ హయాంలో టెండర్లలో పాల్గొనకపోవడం వల్ల కోల్పోయిన రెండు గనులను తిరిగి సింగరేణి ఆధ్వర్యంలోకి తీసుకొచ్చే విషయంలో అన్ని మార్గాలను అన్వేషిస్తామని స్పష్టం చేశారు.
ప్రస్తుత పోటీ ప్రపంచంతో సింగరేణి కూడా పోటీ పడుతుందని, ఆయాచిత లబ్ది కోసం ప్రయత్నించడం లేదని ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారు చెప్పారు. సింగరేణి మనుగడ, లాభాల ఆర్జన, ప్రపంచంతో పోటీ పడటం వంటి కీలక అంశాలపై కార్మికులు, ప్రజాప్రతినిధులు, ప్రభుత్వ అధికారులు సమాలోచనలు చేసి పటిష్టమైన ప్రణాళికలతో ముందుకు పోతామని చెప్పారు.
జీఎస్టీ సంస్కరణల నేపథ్యంలో రాష్ట్రం దాదాపు 7 వేల కోట్ల మేరకు ఆదాయం కోల్పోతోంది. ఆ నష్టాన్ని కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వం భరించాలని ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారు డిమాండ్ చేశారు. జీఎస్టీ (GST) సవరణలతో ఏర్పడిన వ్యత్యాసాన్ని పూరించాల్సిన బాధ్యత కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వానిదేనని అన్నారు. ఈ విషయంలో ఉప ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారు కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వానికి లేఖ రాస్తారని చెప్పారు.

On the occasion of the Dussehra festival, Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri A. Revanth Reddy announced good news for Singareni workers for the second consecutive year. A 34 percent bonus has been declared, based on the company’s production, profits, and achievements during the past year.
The decision was taken after consultations with Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, Minister Duddilla Sridhar Babu, other ministers, and public representatives from the Singareni region.
Addressing the media, the Chief Minister announced a bonus of ₹819 crore, which will benefit each worker by ₹1,95,610. Contract workers, who last year received a bonus of ₹5,000 each, will now receive ₹5,500.
For the financial year 2024-25, Singareni earned ₹6,394 crore in post-tax profits. Of this, ₹4,034 crore has been allocated for expansion, while ₹2,360 crore is being directed towards welfare programs. Nearly 71,000 workers will benefit from the 34% bonus.
While this announcement was made for Dussehra, the Chief Minister stated that another bonus-related declaration will follow during Diwali. He thanked the trade unions for their cooperation in Singareni’s growth.
Recalling the Telangana movement, the Chief Minister said the sacrifice and contribution of Singareni workers will never be forgotten. He noted that by halting coal production, they played a crucial role in putting pressure on past governments during the agitation.
The Chief Minister emphasized that Singareni provides light to the nation through coal mining, and that industries across India thrive on the hard work of its workforce. Sharing profits with workers, he said, is recognition of their critical role.
He assured that, along with profit-sharing, the government will focus on future plans, expansion programs, and strengthening the company to compete with corporate players, while prioritizing workers’ welfare and development.
The government will also explore all options to regain two mines lost during the previous regime due to non-participation in tenders.
Highlighting the impact of GST reforms, the Chief Minister said Telangana is losing nearly ₹7,000 crore in revenue and demanded that the Central Government compensate for this shortfall. Deputy CM Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka will write to the Centre on this matter.
