వచ్చే రెండేళ్లలో రాష్ట్రంలో మరో నాలుగున్నర లక్షల ఇందిరమ్మ ఇండ్లు మంజూరు చేస్తామని ముఖ్యమంత్రి శ్రీ రేవంత్ రెడ్డి గారు ప్రకటించారు. భద్రాద్రి కొత్తగూడెం జిల్లా బెండాలపాడులో ఇందిరమ్మ ఇండ్ల పైలాన్ను ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారు ఆవిష్కరించారు. ఇండ్ల నిర్మాణం పూర్తి చేసుకుని గృహ ప్రవేశం చేసుకున్న కుటుంబాలతో కొద్దిసేపు గడిపారు.
గృహ ప్రవేశం చేసిన ఇండ్లను ఒక్కొక్కటిగా పరిశీలించారు. కుటుంబ సభ్యులతో కలిసి చాప మీద కూర్చొని వారిచ్చిన అల్పాహారం తీసుకున్నారు. గృహ ప్రవేశం చేసిన కుటుంబాలకు చీరలను బహూరకరించారు. గృహ ప్రవేశం చేసిన సందర్భంగా కుటుంబ సభ్యుల అనుభూతిని అడిగి తెలుసుకున్నారు.
అనంతరం అక్కడ ఏర్పాటు చేసిన సమావేశంలో స్థానికులు బాగోగులను అడిగి తెలుసుకున్నారు. అందరూ సంతోషంగా ఉన్నారా. సన్నబియ్యం వస్తున్నాయా. రేషన్ కార్డులు వచ్చాయా వంటి అంశాలను అడిగి తెలుసుకున్నారు. ఈ గ్రామానికి ఎన్ని ఇండ్లు మంజూరయ్యాయని ప్రశ్నించినప్పుడు 312 ఇండ్లు మంజూరైనట్టు ఆనందంగా చెప్పారు.
ఇండ్లు మంజూరైన వారంతా సంతోషంగా, చల్లగా ఉండాలని ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారు ఆకాంక్షిస్తూ పిల్లలను బాగా చదివించాలని, వారికి పెళ్లిళ్లయ్యాక వారికీ ఇండ్లిస్తామని చెప్పారు. గృహ ప్రవేశం చేసుకున్న ముహూర్తాన చిరు జల్లులు కురవడం శుభసంకేతమని అన్నారు.
గడిచిన పదేండ్లలో ఏటా రెండు లక్షల ఇండ్లు కట్టినా రాష్ట్రంలో ఇప్పటికి 20 లక్షల ఇండ్లు పూర్తయ్యేవని అన్నారు. మొదటి విడతగా 4.5 లక్షల ఇండ్లు మంజూరు చేశామని చెబుతూ, వచ్చే రెండేండ్లలో మరో నాలుగున్న లక్షల ఇండ్లిస్తామని ప్రకటించారు.
Hon’ble Chief Minister Sri A. Revanth Reddy announced that another four and a half lakh Indiramma houses will be sanctioned in the state over the next two years. The Chief Minister unveiled the Indiramma House Pylon at Bendalapadu village in Kothagudem district of Bhadradri and interacted warmly with beneficiaries who had completed the construction of their houses.
The Chief Minister personally inspected the sanctioned houses, sat on a mat with the families, shared breakfast with them, and presented sarees to women beneficiaries. He enquired about their experience of owning a house and expressed satisfaction over their joy.
In a meeting with the locals, the Chief Minister asked about their well-being, availability of rice, ration cards, and the number of sanctioned houses in the village. When told that 312 houses had been allotted, he expressed happiness and wished that every beneficiary family would live a contented and comfortable life. He urged parents to ensure good education for their children and assured that even after their children’s marriages, they too would be allotted houses. Referring to the showers that accompanied the Gruhapravesham, he remarked that it was an auspicious sign.
Highlighting the housing deficit, he said that if two lakh houses had been constructed each year in the past decade, nearly 20 lakh houses would have been available by now. He stated that 4.5 lakh houses have already been sanctioned in the first phase and reiterated the government’s commitment to build another four lakh houses in the next two years under the Indiramma Housing Scheme.
