The Labour Employment Training and Factories Department deals with matters related to factories, Employees State Insurance (E.S.I), labour disputes, employment, training, and so on.Deal with all the cases of the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB), Vigilance and Enforcement and A.P. Vigilance Commission that relate to the Labour Employment Training and Factories DepartmentThe MGNREG Act 2005 provides enhancement of livelihood security, giving atleast 100 days of guaranteed wage employment in every financial year to every household, whose adult members volunteer to do unskilled manual work.

The Labour Department is constituted for the purpose of safeguarding the rights and interests of the workers both in organized and un-organized sectors by effective implementation of the various provisions of the Labour Enactments of both Central and State Enactments. The objectives of the Labour Department are maintenance of Industrial Peace, Enforcement of Labour Enactments and implementation of Social Security and Labour Welfare. The Labour Department is enforcing 16 Central Enactments and 4 State Enactments. The services rendered by the department are conciliation services, quasi-judicial services, enforcement of Labour Laws and registration and renewal services. The Welfare Schemes implemented by the department are Beedi Housing for Beedi Workers, Scholarships and other economic ameliorative services through T.S. Labour Welfare Fund.
